In H1 2025, Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A., one of the market leaders among hard coal producers in Poland, generated PLN 1.52 billion of consolidated sales revenue. The level of revenue generated was affected by lower coal prices, partly offset by higher sales volumes.
Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka has established cooperation with MKS Lublin S.A., a legend of women's handball in Poland and one of the region's most recognisable sports brands. Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka, one of the leaders of the domestic hard coal producer market, ended the first quarter of 2025 with a marked improvement of financial and operational results. This has been achieved despite difficult market conditions and the continuing decline in raw material prices. Consolidated sales revenue totalled PLN 868.9 million (6.5% year-on-year increase), EBITDA increased by 143.1% to PLN 395 million, and net profit reached PLN 283.9 million (563.7% increase).
