Bogdanka's strength is its people

On 4th December, as every year, the community of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka celebrated Miners' Day – a special feast expressing tribute to the hard work of miners and their contribution to the development of our region and the Polish energy sector.

Last Friday, 29 November 2024, a letter of intent was signed at LW Bogdanka’s head office between Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka and RG Bogdanka, and the Mining School Complex in Łęczna and the School Complex in Ostrów Lubelski.

On 30 November 2024, Lubelski Węgiel “Bogdanka” S.A. and Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. signed a letter of intent at the Company’s headquarters, paving the way for closer cooperation in the area of optimization of the production processes.

Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A., one of Poland's leading hard coal producers, generated more than PLN 2.6 billion in consolidated revenue on sales in three quarters of 2024.
