6th Polish Mining Congress, the most important forum for the debate on the future of mining, geology and raw material policy in Poland will take place in Lublin and Bogdanka on 24-26 September 2025. The slogan of this year's edition is: “MiningPL2050 - raw materials, energy, transformation”.

The Company has announced a new ESG Strategy for 2025-2030 with an outlook to 2035. The document sets out the Company's key Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives and activities, responding to the challenges of the energy transition, regulatory changes and stakeholder expectations.

Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka, one of the leaders of the domestic hard coal producer market, ended the first quarter of 2025 with a marked improvement of financial and operational results. This has been achieved despite difficult market conditions and the continuing decline in raw material prices. Consolidated sales revenue totalled PLN 868.9 million (6.5% year-on-year increase), EBITDA increased by 143.1% to PLN 395 million, and net profit reached PLN 283.9 million (563.7% increase).

Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A., one of the leading hard coal producers in Poland, adopted a Development Strategy up to 2030, with an outlook until 2035. The strategy is a response to the accelerating energy transition and increasing regulatory requirements in the industry.

On Wednesday 18 December 2024, the ECOTECH-COMPLEX building of the Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research at UMCS hosted an academic seminar organised by the CeReClimEn Centre at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (UMCS) and LW Bogdanka.

LW Bogdanka S.A. has published its consolidated financial results after the first 3 quarters of 2022. LW Bogdanka Group's revenue for the period was PLN 2,030.1 million. EBITDA reached PLN 676.4 million, operating profit PLN 374.0 million and net profit PLN 310.3 million.

LW Bogdanka S.A. has published its Q1 2022 financial results. The LW Bogdanka Group’s revenue climbed 30.1% in this period to PLN 731.8 million from PLN 562.4 million last year. EBITDA was PLN 276.5 million, operating profit was PLN 179.7 million and net profit was PLN 143.2 million.

The Strategy presented by Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka is a response to the challenges posed by Poland’s 2040 Energy Policy. It is focused primarily on maintaining production capacity, high profitability ratios, respect for the environment as well as maintaining the position of an economic and social pillar of the region.
