The Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka Group has just published its ESG Report for 2022. The document is the tenth report prepared on the basis of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines, taking into account also elements typical of integrated reporting, linking financial performance with results in the environmental, social and governance areas.
Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka has become the title sponsor of the men's volleyball team previously known as LUK Lublin. As of the new volleyball PlusLiga season, the team will be known as BOGDANKA LUK Lublin.
Last year at Bogdanka closed with record investments in improving occupational safety. OHS spending reached nearly USD 195 million. The main assembly work on the construction of a new photovoltaic farm in Bogdanka, Lubelskie Voivodeship, has been completed. The 5.66-hectare plot has already 5,552 high-efficiency, double-sided photovoltaic panels assembled. The new farm will have a capacity of 3 MWp.

LW Bogdanka S.A. has published its Q1 2023 financial results. The LW Bogdanka Group’s revenue climbed 28.5% in this period to PLN 940.7 million from PLN 731.8 million last year. EBITDA was PLN 291.6 million (up by 5.5%), operating profit was PLN 155.8 million and net profit was PLN 126.2 million.
