Last Friday, 29 November 2024, a letter of intent was signed at LW Bogdanka’s head office between Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka and RG Bogdanka, and the Mining School Complex in Łęczna and the School Complex in Ostrów Lubelski.

This is an important moment for the students of both school complexes, especially those studying the professions of underground mining technician, mechanic, electric and solid mineral processing technician. The project provides excellent conditions for professional development and practical experience in the labour market.

Under the agreement signed, LW Bogdanka offers the students not only scholarship awards but also work proposals, which opens up real career opportunities for them.

This collaboration demonstrates the importance of the relationship between the education and industry sectors. Such initiatives enable students to combine learning with practice and gain a solid foundation for their future careers.

Since 2017, Bogdanka has already employed 122 graduates as part of this project, which confirms its effectiveness and value. For the students, this means better chances for stable employment and development in a key industry for the region
