Bogdanka's photovoltaic farm nearing completion

The main assembly work on the construction of a new photovoltaic farm in Bogdanka, Lubelskie Voivodeship, has been completed. The 5.66-hectare plot has already 5,552 high-efficiency, double-sided photovoltaic panels assembled. The new farm will have a capacity of 3 MWp.

Bogdanka’s robust Q1 results

LW Bogdanka S.A. has published its Q1 2023 financial results. The LW Bogdanka Group’s revenue climbed 28.5% in this period to PLN 940.7 million from PLN 731.8 million last year. EBITDA was PLN 291.6 million (up by 5.5%), operating profit was PLN 155.8 million and net profit was PLN 126.2 million.

Bogdanka has presented its financial and operating results for 2022

LW BOGDANKA S.A. has published its financial results for 2022. Consolidated revenues for the period were PLN 2,451.7 million, EBITDA stood at PLN 610 million, operating profit was PLN 200.3 million and net profit was PLN 175.6 million.

Bogdanka as the main sponsor of the “Lubelskie Perła Polski” Cycling Club

Bogdanka has become the main sponsor of the “Lubelskie Perła Polski” cycling group, which brings together cyclists in the Orlik U-23 category. The cycling group from Lublin includes a cyclist from Poland’s national team, current junior track cycling world champion and vice-champion Dominik Ratajczak. The signing of the agreement, in the presence of legendary cyclist - world champion and Olympic silver medalist Zenon Jaskuła - took place on Monday, 20 March 2023 in Lublin.

The State Treasury will buy out the shares of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka. The mine acquisition process should be completed this summer. Bogdanka commences extraction from a third longwall

Last week, Lubelski Węgiel “Bogdanka” S.A. successfully launched hard coal extraction on a new, highly efficient coal-cutting longwall in the Stefanów Field. It means that at present the coal mine operates three walls, in keeping with the earlier planned work timetable.
