Bogdanka will work - there are no plans to liquidate the mine. Transforming the region is the joint task for the local community, the government and Enea Group companies – this is the main and clear message emerging from the first meeting of the Lublin region transformation team.
Representatives of LW Bogdanka SA visited Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, continuing the activities initiated by the Letter of Intent signed on 30th November 2024. During the meeting, selected companies of the JSW Capital Group were also presented.
LW Bogdanka, which has been involved in the development of local sport and the support of the Górnik Łęczna team for many years, is concluding a new two-year sponsorship agreement.
LW Bogdanka confirms that a series of several seismic tremors were recorded on the night of 27-28 December 2024. These tremors were felt at the mine site, but did not affect its operation or occupational safety.
