Bogdanka has awarded its scholarship in the “Business Scholarships 2025” programme.
For the first time, LW Bogdanka joined the “Business Scholarships” programme - a partnership initiative of the City of Lublin, local companies and universities.
In this year's edition, the scholarship funded by Bogdanka was awarded to Marta Borowik, a second-degree student of Transport at the WSEI Lublin Academy.
The programme was created to support the most talented students who are distinguished for their good academic results, social activity and drive to acquire new competence. This year, nine winners were selected from several hundred applications, and each of the fellows will receive financial support and the opportunity to work with the funders.
As the region's biggest patron, we support sport, culture and science, including young ambitious people who will shape the future of the Lublin region in the following years. At Bogdanka, we focus on those who want to develop and face new challenges. The scholarship is a form of real support, but also a first step towards building relationships with future specialists who may contribute to the Bogdanka team over time.
- emphasises Artur Wasilewski, Vice-President of the Management Board of LW Bogdanka for economic and financial affairs.
Congratulations to Marta Borowik and all the winners of this year's edition. We are pleased that we can support students from various fields of study, but especially from technical faculties because these skills underpin the development of our industry. The scholarship is also an invitation to cooperate, participate in internships and learn about the operation of a large industrial enterprise such as Bogdanka from the inside.
- says Paweł Kraszewski, HR Director at LW Bogdanka.
The Bogdanka scholarship will be paid for eight months and its aim is to support the development of the professional, educational and social competence of the awarded students.
