Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A., one of the leading hard coal producers in Poland, adopted a Development Strategy up to 2030, with an outlook until 2035. The strategy is a response to the accelerating energy transition and increasing regulatory requirements in the industry.

Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A., one of the leading hard coal producers in Poland, generated consolidated sales revenue of nearly PLN 3.7 billion in 2024, despite a lower demand for coal and a decline in prices of this raw material. The Group generated a solid EBITDA of PLN 981.1 million and its liquidity position remained stable.

Bogdanka will work - there are no plans to liquidate the mine. Transforming the region is the joint task for the local community, the government and Enea Group companies – this is the main and clear message emerging from the first meeting of the Lublin region transformation team.
