Bogdanka, ARP and the Municipality of Łęczna join forces to develop a new investment zone

The project assumes creating modern facilities for industrial and business investment, fostering the region’s development and the creation of new jobs. The planned investment area covers approximately 180 hectares of land located in the vicinity of Podzamcze and Stara Wieś. As part of the cooperation, the parties will carry out preparatory work, including legal, environmental and infrastructural analyses necessary for the launch of projects of regional and national importance.

Signing of the letter of intent is an important step towards creating new development opportunities for the region. As Bogdanka, we wish to play an active role in creating a modern space for business and industry that will meet the challenges of economic and energy transition. This is a project that has the potential to create new jobs and diversify the local economy,

The letter of intent is the first step towards development of a detailed agreement defining the terms of cooperation for the implementation of the project. In the coming months, the parties plan to develop a schedule and cost estimate for the project and carry out the necessary analyses.

Signing of the letter of intent today marks another milestone in the process of establishing an economic zone within the Municipality of Łęczna. Our aim is to create a space that will become home to modern business ventures generating stable jobs in the future. In the context of the challenges facing the mining sector, this is a key element of a responsible development policy. Bogdanka is now a company of regional importance, therefore this project affects not only the Łęczna district but the entire province, securing the future of local families and businesses,

The cooperation also involves close coordination of actions between the partners, the exchange of information, as well as joint efforts to attract investors. The parties undertake to carry out the project in a transparent manner, respecting the interests of all stakeholders and with a view to the socio-economic development of the region.

The signed document is a letter of intent and does not create any financial liabilities – it serves as a basis for further work and negotiations on the ultimate model of cooperation.
